It also has various input/output ports, including MIDI I/O, USB Interface, and Optical/TOSLINK Out (S/PDIF). The digital recorder has a maximum sampling rate of 16 bit (44.1 kHz) and weighs 7.5kg. The recorder section provides 16 audio tracks (mono x 8, stereo x 4), plus a stereo master track for mixdown. Because each track has 10 virtual tracks (V-takes), you can record multiple takes and select the best later. A full range of editing functions is provided, allowing you to copy or move audio data. Time stretch / compression and pitch compensation along with a maximum of 8 track simultaneous recording are also available.
