A Local Authority based in the West Midlands is seeking an experienced Social Worker to work with Young Offenders, specifically Children in Need or Looked After Children in Custody providing an excellent opportunity to use your experience in a different environment improving employability prospects.

This is an excellent and unique opportunity to work with a specific service user group in a specialist environment that offers unique challenges and experience. This role is commissioned by the Local Authority to help support and advise the young offenders institute's governors and leadership to effectively carry out their statutory duties. You will also be working directly with these service users.
To be considered for this post you should have experience of working in a youth offending team or extensive front line social work experience.
