Hays Education are representing a lovely Hinckley based primary school that are looking to appoint a Year 6 Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis. The job is to start in January 2024 until May half-term initially with the possibility to extend. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching year 6 students and ensuring that they achieve their full potential.

As this is a long-term job, you will have full planning and marking responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students.Ensure that all students are making progress and achieving their full potential.Mark all work in a timely and accurate manner.Provide regular feedback to students and parents.Attend staff meetings and contribute to the development of the school’s curriculum.Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement.Ensure that all students are safe and well-cared for.

Requirements:

Qualified teacher status (QTS).Experience teaching year 6 students or in a primary school setting.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
