My client Primary School is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join them. The School has excellent ICT Facilities and has a specialist learning area where the children do Food technology/Art/Design technology.
Job to start January 2024 for two terms .
Responsibilities:
Create engaging and well-structured lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and meet the diverse needs of students in Year 5.
Deliver lessons that promote active learning, critical thinking, and creativity.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their progress and development.
Establish a positive classroom environment that encourages respect, collaboration, and inclusivity.
Work closely with colleagues to plan and coordinate cross-curricular activities and events.
Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student performance and well-being.
Contribute to the wider school community through active participation in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with relevant teaching experience.
A thorough understanding of the Year 5 curriculum and the ability to effectively deliver lessons that meet its objectives.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
A passion for education and a commitment to creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
A reflective approach to teaching, with a willingness to continuously learn and adapt instructional methods.
Knowledge of current educational trends, methodologies, and assessment techniques.
