Hays Education are representing a Market Harborough based primary school that are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to cover maternity leave on a part-time basis. As this is a long-term job, you will have full planning and marking responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all studentsAssess and monitor student progress, and provide regular feedback to parents and carersWork collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategiesMaintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and progress

You will need:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Experience teaching EYFS and KS1 curriculumExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a teamStrong organisational and time-management skills
