The Yamaha Revstar RSP20CR Electric Guitar is the flagship model in the Revstar range. Made in Japan, the RSP20CR delivers an instrument with huge attention to detail and utilizes hand selected, premium parts making for a guitar with supreme feel, tone and playability.

The Revstar RSP20CR has double cutaway mahogany body that is topped with a maple cap and finished in a unique satin finish that features two stripes.. The set-in mahogany neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard that hosts 22 jumbo frets and utilizes a newly designed neck joint for easy access to the upper frets.

As with all of the Yamaha Revstar range, the RSP20CR features specially designed pickups that compliment the guitar. The pair of VH7 humbuckers utilize Alnico V magnets, a German silver baseplate and heavy formvar wire for a punchy, dynamic, articulate tone with a perfect balance between gain and clarity. Tonal versatility comes in form of Yamahas proprietary Dry Switch. The Dry Switch delivers a vastly improved coil split like tone via a clever passive filter circuit that has been designed to give the perfect frequency response, punch and tone of a single coil pickup, minus that unwanted single coil hum and hollowness of sound.

The Yamaha Revstar range has been 4 years in the making.
