This is a nice all original unmolested 80s vintage Japanese made Yamaha full scale Bass. Finished in Pearl White(faded), it offers a high output single Humbucker with a coil tap feature, this gives the Bass a good range of sounds and tones.
At 35 years old, the Bass is in a good clean condition having just two main areas of dings as shown in the photos, they aren't too visible being at the top edge of the body. Other small tiny marks here and there but very few and just normal wear. Overall though, the Bass looks to have been home used only, everything works as it should, good straight neck, excellent frets, bright chromework. A recent clean and mini service included fingerboard oil and clean, polished frets and the action set. The truss rod turns both ways should you require future adjustment to compensate for lighter or heavier strings.
This is a quality vintage Japanese made Yamaha Bass for not allot of money. I believe this rare model was only made for two years and will appeal to both players and collectors.
