To carry out work within the Kendal workshop as instructed by the Manager/Supervisor to fulfil business requirements. Ensure work is carried out Safely and all relevant personnel are trained to the acceptable standard of quality by following company workshop procedures.
Day to day duties
Carry out workshop tasks for all areas of business as instructed by Workshop Manager/ Technical Supervisor.Carry out routine maintenance or repairs to various types of portable equipment following relevant procedures and completing the required paperwork and ETS updates.To support TPM/Manufacturing with new or standard machine builds.To manufacture replacement parts for FS machines.To manufacture jigs/fixtures, mount plates required for day to day process work.Advice any major repairs required to reinstate equipment to Technical Supervisor.Advise any loss of or culpable damage to equipmentCarry out customer demonstrations as instructed.Operate within and fully support the ISO 9001 quality, H&S procedures Skills and Knowledge Required
Have a recognised Engineering apprenticeship / qualificationAbility to use the range of workshop equipment.Good knowledge of O.S.M equipment in particularAbility to read Engineering Drawings Benefits
