Workshop Controller – Cheshire

Our client, the No1 motor trade employer in the UK, is looking to recruit an experienced Workshop Controller: –

The main responsibilities will include:

Maximising the productivity, efficiency and utilization of the workshop.

Working alongside another Workshop Controller and Workshop Manager, overseeing a very busy workshop consisting of 23 Technicians and 6 Apprentices

Maximising sales opportunities through the workshop.

The allocation of jobs to the technician's dependent on duration, skill level and job requirement.

Ensuring that any warranty work deemed to be necessary is correctly diagnosed and is authorized by either the warranty controller or the manager.

The successful candidate must have previous experience in a similar role and a strong understanding of sales processes.

A full clean driving licence is essential.

Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm

Saturday on rota 8am to 12.30pm (1 in 3)

GBP32,500 basic salary

GBP46,500 OTE uncapped and VERY achievable.
