Work Planner / Scheduler
Salary: GBP25,237 – GBP28,894 per annum
Location: Bulwell Nottingham
Hours: 35 x 9 and 1x 22
Our client is a renowned housing association committed to excellence and values–driven practices. Their Property Services department plays a crucial role in coordinating design, installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair work for their housing stock. They're excited about bringing their responsive repairs in house and expanding their team to allow them to better serve their customers. Currently based in Bulwell, (but moving to Clifton at the end of 2024) they have a range of positions available.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Work Planner, you will play a crucial role in the effective and efficient planning and scheduling of housing maintenance work for their trade teams and inspectors. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Diagnosing problems and estimating work hours required for maintenance tasks
Producing detailed work schedules to optimise team efficiency
Raising works orders using our in–house systems
Providing clear work instructions to trade teams and inspectors
Purchasing materials when required to facilitate seamless work execution
Ensuring all tasks are completed within relevant Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

An understanding of the needs of people from diverse backgrounds and how this relates to excellent customer service
The ability to stay calm under pressure and meet deadlines
Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday (8 am to 5 pm) and Friday (8 am to 4 pm)
There is an expectation that for the first three months of the role you will be office based. After this time there is a requirement to work 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.
