Our award winning training provider have an excellent opportunity for the right person to work as part of their dedicated Study Programme team as a Work Experience Officer in our clients Bury centre. (The team, work across centres when required)
The role of the Work Experience Officer will be to ensure a sufficient bank of work experience placements are available for students, supporting the students and employers via regular reviews and promoting progression onto an apprenticeship or another progression opportunity.
Duties include:
To ensure a full Company Induction is carried out on the commencement of every study programme learners' work experience. To identify suitable companies for students to attend for work experience and accompany students on initial visits. To liaise with the Health & Safety team to ensure that all placements have received a health and safety check prior to placing the students in the company To undertake 'Work Ready' interviews with students following our clients quality system To respond positively to resolve any work experience problems that may arise To make reasonable and practicable efforts to remove any personal barriers that could affect the students' progression To monitor students ensuring continued progression towards completion of their programme as per programme agreement. Where students are falling behind schedule extra support must be made available To work with the student to secure a progression opportunity on completion of their programme.
