Compliance Testing
Our Compliance Testing team works with global clients to test and monitor compliance across a wide range of regulatory, technology and operational risk areas. Our team supports many of the firm's leading clients, largely within the banking and financial services sector, on a wide range of global and complex audit engagements.
Our Compliance Testing Team focuses on Assurance Controls Testing, Compliance Testing & Monitoring, Technology Risk Compliance and Regulatory Compliance, providing specialist process and controls support to all business units across our UK firm.
Compliance Testing provides specialist knowledge and expertise to help our global clients manage multiple projects, implementing and delivering solutions, in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Customer Management
Operate's customer management team help our clients deal with complaints, as well as run remediation programmes where we put right what's gone wrong. Whether in response to a regulator's instructions, or because of high volumes of complaints, our redress teams are often quickly deployed to deal with financial services scenarios.
Business Operations
Business Operations provides a range of services to the wider PwC firm worldwide and to our clients. Through the provision of immigration support and employee screening services, our team make sure our clients can onboard their employees and comply with immigration rules quickly.
Legal Operations
When regulations or the market changes, organisations sometimes need to update the contracts they hold. Operate's Legal Operations team combines technology and regulatory expertise to help our clients 'repaper'.
Financial Crime Operations
Our customer onboarding and lifecycle team ensure that our customers comply with Anti-Money Laundering and Know your Client (KYC) regulations. This includes during the onboarding process and when regulations have changed meaning that banks have to undertake checks on current customers.
Enablement
Enablement is an operations function dedicated to the smooth running of Operate. We are responsible for making sure we've the right number of people with the right skills to support our client projects. We focus on ways to provide a consistent, positive experience to our Operate team members by organising events, sharing news, creating opportunities for people to connect and learn more about the business. We do all this while also taking action to make sure we remain commercially focussed and mitigate our risks.
Cloud Digital and Data
Cloud Digital and Data is a multidisciplinary technology team within Operate dedicated to delivering and managing solutions across all lines of service. Our focus is on solving your problems, using specialist technologies such as automation, artificial intelligence and data analytics to create efficiencies and drive revenue growth within your business unit. We also have experienced IT project managers, developers and testers who help implement large technology change programmes.
Programme
Open to all, this vacancy is aimed primarily at inspiring and supporting women seeking an experience in professional services as part of our commitment to improve our gender balance by showcasing some of our female leaders. The programme focuses on developing confidence and skills and provides an insight into the opportunities available at PwC.
During this three-day paid programme you'll get an insight into what a career at PwC could look like. You'll meet mentors and buddies who'll represent the variety of opportunities available across PwC. You'll meet some of our Female colleagues to hear about their own personal career journeys, as well as from some of our networks focussed on Inclusion and Diversity. Through interactive sessions the programme will help you to develop confidence in a business setting and encourage you to bring your whole self to the workplace. At PwC, we nurture an environment where our people can be the best they can be.
Our Women in Business programme will be a 3-day paid programme, 16 - 18 April 2024. You will need to be in the UK to complete this programme.
What you'll do
Life at Operate is fast-paced and client-focused. What you'll need
You'll need to be on track to pass an undergraduate degree or above in any subject. We determine whether you're on course to pass based on the grades you achieved in your last completed year of academic study.
You'll need to be a first year undergraduate university student on a three-year degree course; or
You'll need to be a second year undergraduate university students on a four-year degree course.
During the Women in Business programme, you will be assessed using a variety of methods to deem your eligibility to be offered a place on our Summer Internship programme 2025. By applying to the Women in Business programme, you are confirming that you will be available to complete the Summer Internship programme in July 2025 should you receive a subsequent offer.
When to apply
To join the Women in Business First Year programme you'll have to complete and pass two stages of our selection process; the online test and video interview.
