My story

　　Winter has had a rough time in her short one year of life. She has had at least 3 homes that we know of here when she was surrendered. She is a sweet girl that is very happy when she is familiar with you! She can be protective of her space and her people but has come a long way since her arrival at the shelter. Winter will need someone that can continue to work with her on her insecurities in her new home. Winter loves to go out to the play yard and loves to play with the balls and rubber toys! Due to her past history an adult only home would be best for Winter. She does not care for the company of other dogs or cats so being the only pet in the home would be best for her. Winter does weigh around 50 pounds and most likely will not get much bigger. Winter's potential adopters must meet with her several times before taking her home to ensure that a good relationship is established.
