Salary: Grade 5 GBP37,667 - GBP41,359 per annum including London Weighting.
(The pro-rata salary for grade 5 is GBP11,300 - GBP12,407 per annum including London Weighting)
Central is a conservatoire based in North London offering higher education and training in a range of specialisms: performance (acting, voice, movement); creative, design and production (theatre practice); and applied theatre.
We are seeking a Wigs, Hair & Makeup Artist to work as our WHaM Technical Demonstrator (0.3 - 1.5 days per week clustered within production seasons) to work in the Technical & Production Department
Guided by Academic Requirements within course curriculum at Central, the role is to provide school-wide WHaM support for a wide range of projects as well as delivering skills teaching sessions. You will be collaborating with students and professionals on productions and be responsible for managing hair and makeup equipment and supplies.
Applicants must have a proven professional profile within the industry, with experience in a wide range of productions as well as an interest in working in an educational setting. We particularly welcome replies from professionals from Black and Global majority backgrounds.
