These Wi-Fi boosters work through your home’s electrical circuit to effectively replicate your current WI-FI hub anywhere in your house that there is a plug.

The smaller PG-9073LG-VM unit needs to be permanently connected to your existing home hub via an Ethernet cable (not supplied but widely available).

The two larger PG-9072LG-VM units then need to be paired to the smaller unit, by plugging them in somewhere in the same room initially, and pressing the ‘sync’ button on both the smaller and larger units within 30 seconds of each other.

Once paired, they can then be moved to other rooms, and your mobile devices will connect to them automatically using the same password details as the main hub.

Both of the larger units can also have Ethernet cables plugged in to them, for example if you have a gaming PC or console, and want the maximum possible broadband speed.

All three units have passthrough plug sockets on the front, so that you don’t lose any plug socket access.

Although Virgin Media branded, I have used these on various other Wi-Fi hubs without issue.

All units have been checked and factory reset.
