Techniche Global are supporting an engineering defence contractor to appoint a Trainer for their Weapons division.

We are looking for someone who has ideally experience in MOD or Military/Government Defence sector previously. The main requirement is to be qualified to a minimum Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent military qualification. Knowledge of weapons current in-service weapon systems is preferred.

Your role will entail the Training of highly motivated students in all aspects of the trade, stripping and assembling, fault finding & repairs on most of the current in-service weapon systems.

No previous or prior training or trainer experience is required. Within the first 6 months company will ensure the shadowing of another trainer, you would not be expected to deliver the training straight away and always work in pairs.

Company will cover all training costs, including supporting obtaining your Level 4 Teaching certificate within the first 6 months of employment.

Salary GBP33,157 - GBP35,451 plus benefits

The roles are full-time site based in Gosport. 37 hours per week Monday to Friday 8:30 till 4:30pm with an early finish on a Wednesday afternoon
