Job Introduction
As a Divisional Warranty Administrator for Mercedes-Benz, you will be accountable for efficiently and accurately administering manufacturer warranty systems. The main purpose is to ensure OEM guidelines and processes are followed to ensure warranty claims are on time and to avoid unnecessary fines.
As this is a divisional role, you will be responsible for the invoicing on behalf of multiple dealerships within the business on an ad-hoc basis, supporting the Aftersales Managers and Warranty Administration at each site. You will have remote access to sites and be able to transact remotely.
This is a hybrid role, however you will be based in the Midlands area as travel to dealerships in Derby, Nottingham, Loughborough, Leicester, Coventry and Stratford Upon Avon will be required weekly based on business needs. This is also a fixed term contract until 30/11/2024.

Responsible for administrating an holistic process for warranty claims Collaborate closely with the After sales Manager to mitigate audit risk and support the audit process Works effectively as part of the full member After Sales team Curious nature with a responsibility to keep up to date with warranty policies Responsible for ensuring safe working processes and the provision of H&S legislation is taken at all times The Ideal Candidate
As an ideal candidate, you will have;
Previous warranty experience desirable. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, alongside good technical knowledge in all aspects of warranty Strong planning and organising skills with an eye for detail Always has the customer at heart when making any potential decisions A knowledge of Kerridge software would be an advantage Have a team focus and be collaborative to work with the Aftersales department to create a high performing working relationship Time and cost consciousness by processing claims in line with time scales as per Warranty policy Competent ability at handling financial files to spot anomalies and action a plan Full UK drivers licence preferred but not essential Inchcape is a leading independent global automotive distributor and retailer.
