Gap Personnel is looking for Warehouse Inventory assistant for Our prestigious client who is manufacturing shoes and accessories from leather based in Snetterton, Norfolk on a full time Permanent basis.
The Warehouse Inventory assistant is a key role within the business and is primarily responsible for the stock accuracy within the warehouse. Being able to keep stock levels accurate so the warehouse team can pick and pack without any delay. Working closely with other internal customers like customer services and quality control to ensure there are no customer issues.
Full training will be provided on company systems.
Pay - GBP24,000 PA
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 09.00 to 17.00.
Shift patterns to operate in peak periods, including Saturday and Sunday working on a rota system. Additional hours as required to meet the needs of the business. The role would involve some traveling around to the 6 stores for stock counting with travel being paid, accommodation as needed on the store days.
Leading the stock control assistant and ensuring they are working as expected. To monitor the stock control assistant on a regular basis and ensuring the understand the daily/monthly tasks that are required.Supplying warehouse management team with weekly reporting summarising regular loses and gains and adjusting counts accordingly to keep stock accuracy highMainlining shop returns and arranging shop collections in line with the warehouse goods in volumeLiaising with any 3PL customers, generating paperwork, creating container labels, and ensuring stock systems are up to dateEnsuring that pallets are in the correct places within the goods in and QC areaWorking closely with Goods in and merchandising to add packing lists, raising and discrepancies with Merchandising and working with accounts on any invoices that do not matchWorking with stores to query any discrepancies in their stock countsCarrying out stock counts, either cycle counting or PI countsSpot checking deliveries for mixed cartons and ensuring stock accuracy is highDealing with failed actions within the warehouse, carrying out counts and investigations for lost stockDealing with any stock movements that take place in the warehouse from customer services or the QC team,USA or show stock take uploading and checking on any variance and working with that department as needed.Investigating stock discrepancies and highlighting system issues to the operations teamKeeping the Warehouse pristinely clean, tidy, organised, and clear of any excess debris or misplaced stock to not only meet H&S standards, but also the expected operating standards of a luxury brand for the benefit of staff and brand image for customers and suppliers visiting HQ Skills

There is also the opportunity to earn the GBP40 pw attendance bonus. Also, this role comes with a bonus up to 10% of the salary paid in March.
