Selling our 1979 type 2 (bay window) campervan. It has the original Devon moonraker conversion.

We bought it in 2016 from a well-known reliable guy called Steve who is a long established VW restorer /enthusiast, VW Wolfsburg, up in Chorley, Preston. It had the 2L engine reconditioned prior to us buying it. This gives it a lot of power and makes it easier to drive. We have only done about 5000 miles in it.

The body work is original & had a respray & minor repairs also in 2016, the interior is also original and both are in excellent condition.

There is a 'rock and roll' back seat/bed. There are 2 hammocks in the roof suitable for small children. It has a cooker and a cooler (not fridge) cabinet plus a sink. Lots of cupboards which can hold food and clothes for a week away.

It is tax and MOT exempt due to it's age but we have taken it back to Steve every year to have it serviced, checked over and wax oiled.

We have always kept it in a garage so it hasn't been sat out in the rain.

There is a new roof rack, driveaway awning and outside cover which will come with it.

This has been our 3rd classic VW campervan and we have loved it! Children growing up so time for a change.
