** Vintage Hardy Amies Design Tailored by Hepworths **

** Black Tuxedo/Dinner Suit **

In very good condition for its age

Has been stored away unworn for quite a few years so could do with a freshen up.

There is a little bit of fading on the collar of the jacket (See photos) which may come out after a clean

Belonged to a relative who wore this mainly in the 1970's and early 1980's

As this was tailored there are no labels apart from the makers label. I presume the suit is a wool blend

No Label measurements - The other suit I have for sale from the same family member were labelled as;

Trousers;

Waist - 38 inches

Leg - 31 inches

Jacket;

To Fit Chest 44 inches

But I have measured the suit and the following are the measurements - maybe this suit was a slightly smaller size for when he my family member was younger;

Trousers;

Waist - 34 - 35 inches

Inside Leg - 32 inches

Leg width - At Groin area the leg width across is 12 inches and tapers down to 7.5 inches at the bottom of the leg

Chest ;

Underarm to underarm without stretching - 21.5 inches

Shoulder seam to shoulder seam - straight across - 18.5 inches
