We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our supportive team at Midforest Vets, Totton. Midforest Veterinary Practice has been established for over 20 years, with 2 branches, Totton & Lyndhurst. Our friendly, supportive, experienced team prides themselves on providing the best care for pets and clients alike.

You'll work in either our Totton or Lyndhurst branch (or both if of interest) with a good balance between consulting and operating. You'll be working alongside 5 Veterinary Surgeons, 5 RVNs, 1 SVN and 5 receptionists/administrators. Special interests are yours to enjoy, we have a certificate holder in diagnostic imaging and one of our Vets is working towards a Dental certificate.

Rota Patterns that work for you

Typically, the full time position is 40 hours, Monday - Friday, with a Saturday rotation. There is no on-call as our OOH is covered by VetsNow. Our flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours truly tips the scale on your work life balance. We know that everyone has demands and priorities outside of their career and we want to make it easy for you to strike the right balance. Whether you are looking to fix or flex your work patterns, we can find the right solution for you. We would welcome both full and part time applicants.

Clinical freedom with Midforest Vets

We encourage our Veterinary Surgeons to have clinical freedom, case independence, and continuity with an interesting and varied caseload. We would happily support and encourage you in developing your own clinical interests and career advancement. We of course have the various in-house diagnostic equipment to aide you, along with a local IVC referral centre.
