The role
We are seeking an Assistant Veterinary Surgeon to join our successful clinic in Pinner Joining our professional, personable team in the practice, you'll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listen and empathising, putting patients and clients first, always. As qualified MRCVS, you'll already have good experience gained in small animal practice. You'll be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working sole charge or as part of the wider team. Sharing our values being trustworthy, caring and progressive, you will have all the softer skills essential to working effectively, building trusting relationships with your colleagues, harnessing our one team culture. You will also display good communication skills and the desire to share your knowledge and skills by being an outstanding, positive example to others.
Skills and experience
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years' UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience and be confident in their recommendations. We collaborate between all the branches so you are supported whether sole charge or in one of the larger branches. You must be pet and client-centric and have excellent communication skills, competent in spays and castrates, an extensive surgical knowledge is preferred.

Medivet Pinner is a well equipped, successful clinic in a highly affluent area. We have fantastic clients and we are active in the local community. We take pride in our collaborative approach; you will have the opportunity to call upon our experienced vets for advice. You will be working alongside a Certificate Holders within well-equipped practices including digital and dental x-ray and ultrasound. All out-of-hour care is managed by a local Medivet hospital in Watford, where you will also have access to CT, endoscopy, laproscopy, ECG and many experienced, certificate holders including Orthopaedic and advanced diagnostic imaging.
