Vehicle Technician Wimborne You will work Monday to Friday 8.30 - 17.30, alternate Saturdays 8.30 - 12.30 GBP32,000 - GBP35,000

Our client has been a family operated business since 1973, that began its journey from a Series 1 Land-Rover offering only a mobile service in the early years.

Since their inception, the company has grown from a 1-man mobile workshop to a well-established family business specialising in the sales of vehicles and parts, service, repair and preparation of all Land Rover and 4 4 vehicles.

The company s ethos is that everyone should be able to maintain their vehicle to dealership standards, whilst receiving the warm welcome and exceptional customer service of a multi-generation family-run business.

You are expected to maintain a professional appearance and attitude in your work, ensuring customers feel reassured that you understand their requirements and prioritise their best interests in all your endeavours. As an excellent communicator, you will be adept at conveying clear and accurate messages among colleagues, fostering effective collaboration within the workplace.

You will play a key role in maximising productivity within the service department of the company and will work very closely with the Workshop Supervisor. To that end, you will need to be organised and methodical in your approach.

Current experience working as an Automotive Technician or experience working in a similar role Commitment to delivering technical excellence Excellent communication skills Ability to multi-task within a busy environment A good standard of verbal and numerical reasoning A keen eye for detail Computer literate What will your role look like?

To carry out vehicle maintenance and repair work as delegated by the Workshop Supervisor/Manager To complete fully all associated administration tasks relating to the maintenance work carried out as listed within the workshop processes document Collaborating and working on bespoke vehicle projects To carry out any day to day housekeeping duties to ensure that the workshop area is clean and tidy and is a safe working environment supporting a culture of safe working To carry out any tasks contributing to a safe working environment as delegated by the Workshop Supervisor To contribute to maintaining workshop equipment as required to ensure equipment is safe and reliable to use To conduct any duty that supports the day to day operation of the company What can you expect in return?
