Zues here has had some really lousy luck his twilight years.
And we hope we can find him a retirement home.
His owner was a cross-country trucker and brought Zues along.
Zues was well behaved and friendly, so having him along was easy and great company.
One day his owner wound up getting into an accident with the rig he drove.
They were stuck in Vegas.
The owner boarded Zues until things were settled.
The company he drove for fired him for causing the accident.
The owner pledged to take Zues back when he got back on his feet, but alas, Zues wound up being abandoned in Boarding.
He's been there for over a year now and it's time for him to get into a home where he belongs.
Zues has a wonderful temperament.
He gets along with other dogs.
He gets along with all people.
He has nice manners.
He hasn't lost any of the traits that make him wonderful, despite being left, abandoned.
Despite likely being so confused and awaiting day after day, his owner coming back for him, but that day never came.
Zues is about 10 years old, but don't let that deter you.
He still has a pep in his walk and is active and friendly.
He just has those nice, calmer elder manners that we love so much.
I hope his day will come to make it out of there and rest his head in a loving home.

And thank you for looking to adopt.
