Happy, waggy and active, Miss Zoey is a petite Lab-mix who is about a year old and tips the scale at 49 lovable pounds.
She is a friend to other dogs and gets along well with everyone big and small.
Our rescue partner remarks: Shes an all around good girl!
She tells us Zoeys story:
The story behind her is a couple ladies saw her being thrown out of a moving vehicle. They took her home and the next day called us. We do not know if she had a human family or she was a stray that someone picked up and threw out. She is a very sweet girl. She will make someone a wonderful new family member.
She didn't deserve to be thrown out like a bag of trash.
Zoey is house trained and working on some basic commands.
A typical youngster, she will thrive with an active family that has plenty of time to devote to her. That family will be able to provide the reassuring structure dogs need, kind leadership, consistent daily exercise, positive oriented training and, of course, lots of love and affection. Shes just a pup, so patience is a must!
This delightful, playful, good-natured little girl is more than ready for a loving family! Oh, I hope you are the one and fluffing up a bed just for me this very minute! she woofs.
