　　Wont you give me a chance though Im not brand new.

　　I would love a home with someone like you

　　I have wandered and travelled for part of a year

　　You can tell by my scars, I so often hear

　　I lived in a tree

　　Until a human found me

　　Now ready to explore the new places I see

　　Not sure of houses, as Ive never had one

　　But now that Im rescued I think it sounds fun

　　Starved and neglected most of my days

　　Yet still forgiving in so many ways

　　But now is my chance to start life anew

　　In a home with the love that I never knew

　　Be patient and kind and I think you will find

　　Ive got confidence and love, it just needs a rewind

　　So before you go pickin another new kitten

　　Give me a look, let me tell you my stories

　　See my scars give me character, a ruff and tumble appearance

　　Yet my body is healthy, my hope and courage still there

　　Im not antisocial, I still need an embrace

　　Im sweet as can be, my purr full of grace

　　Just waiting for love, another new face

　　A permanent home a nice cozy place

　　Im ready and waiting, theres no time too soon
