My story

　　Hey there! I’m Zeus, but my friends call me Zee. I'm a fun 9-year-old Jagdterrier.

　　(Yack Terrier = German Hunting Dog.

　　Google it. You'll see me!!).

　　We just say Jack Russell here because no one has heard of the real me. I'm exotic like that.I’m the perfect fun-loving size of 21 pounds & happened to have landed in loving rescue. Don’t let my age fool you, I have lots of love yet to give. I do come with a sad past. The family I

　　had spent my entire life with decided to move. With that, they made the choice to take me out back and attempt to shoot me. Thankfully the bullet went through my cheek and did not do any damage. And crafty little me got away and found safety.I do not judge (much) and am just thankful for the opportunity to find a new family who will appreciate my constantly wagging tail and extreme fondness for children.I’m 90% house-trained once a routine is established and I am trained to a doggie door. I do well on my leash and do fine in a kennel. I make myself pretty comfy on my dog bed at night and enjoy sleeping in the same room as my human family members. I’ve been in a foster home with another dog and kids and have done fine, but I do bond very strongly with my people and can get jealous. I might be best as an only dog child.
