Zena's story
Zena was born November 4, 2017, so she is a very young girl...only about seven months old, give or take a few days. She was turned in to the shelter by her owner who stated that Zena is 'very sweet, (and) potty trained'. Zena has a rather severe skin condition that has resulted in a serious amount of hair loss. The skin condition is possibly contagious and needs to be medically treated, but once the treatments are completed, and her hair grows back, Zena is going to be a real beauty. Zena is a very friendly and affectionate young red tick hound mix who loves people and wants so badly for everyone to pet and love on her. We can't do that right now, but as soon as she is past the contagious stage, I'm sure she will get lots of loving. This precious little girl is going to need a good, caring, loving family and a happy home of her own when she is well, so if have a kind heart and room in your home and family for this little sweetheart, please submit a completed application for her adoption now.
