My story
02/08/22 Zeke and Toby were surrendered to the shelter due to not getting along with the other dogs in the home when food was involved. At this time we are not requiring that these boys go to a home without any dogs but want to stress to their new owners to take caution. Making sure to feed and give these boys treats separately will be key to their success. They are both said to be kennel trained and this can be a great tool during feeding. Zeke and Toby are brothers and are said to be quite bonded. We are not requiring that they go to a home together but if you have room for two consider these brothers! They are both said to do great with kids and LOVE women. They can be a little timid at first but warm up quite quickly! They grew up with 2 cats in the home and were said to do well with them. They were also said to be friendly towards dogs until food was around. Please make sure to do all introductions in a slow, safe, and controlled environment. Their previous owner did not indicate if they were fully housebroken but they were said to know quite a few basic commands (sit, lay, shake, down) and to love car rides! Zeke and Toby were described as being lovers and quite affectionate. If you are interested in adopting Zeke or Toby or possibly both please give the shelter a call!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt ZEKE, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
