Zane is quite a perfect balance of adventure dog and cuddle-bug. He is a
year and a half, so he is still young and weighs about 65 pounds so he is a big boy. He walks perfectly on leash and loves to explore the city. We think he is a bulldog/mastiff mix, but whatever the mix, he is very handsome.
He seems to love kids and has the potential to be a great family dog. He lived with a 13 year old boy in his previous home. He loves his walks but is very calm when he is at home. His mellow energy warms a home and everyone who comes into it. He will wiggle on his back until he gets the attention he wants and deserves. Zane seems to ignore other dogs on his walks, so we think he would be happiest as an only dog.
Grateful Dogs Rescue incurs substantial veterinary and other expenses in rescuing our dogs.
In order to recoup some of these costs, we request a tax-deductible donation for each adoption. The suggested donation for Zane is $250.
If you are interested in adopting Zane, please complete our online adoption application at /adoption-process.html. One of our volunteers will get back to you. Adoptions are local, confined to the SF Bay Area.
