Yukon 28265's story

　　Yukon is a 6-year-old male Corgi/Black Lab mix who has already been neutered. He is solid black and has short little legs like a Corgi. Yukon is a good looking fellow who weighs 47 pounds so he is considered to be a medium sized dog. He came to PAHS from an overcrowded situation where he lived with a number of other dogs. Yukon is well behaved and calm. We believe he will fine in a home with other dogs and children. Yukon is a good boy who craves attention. With a patient and kind owner Yukon has the potential to be a wonderful new family member who will quickly bond to his humans. ***You may note some discoloration in Yukon's eyes. It has been vet checked and the vet says it is not cataracts but an old injury. It will not get worse, does not require treatment, and it doesn't greatly affect Yukon's ability to see. She said it would be like looking through a thin curtain.***

　　Dogs and puppies may be adopted for a fee of $120. All cats and kittens may be adopted for $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heartworm negative.
