My story
Meet Yoda; so named for his over-sized ears and almond-shaped eyes. Born on Ash Wednesday (March 2nd, 2022), this sweet boy is equal parts playful and cuddly.
His mom was adopted about two weeks before she gave birth, so he has only known life inside with other cats and adults. Like his mom, Yoda likes room to run and is curious about everything.
So far, we haven’t found a toy Yoda doesn’t like, but his favorite is shoelaces. Yoda is a sensitive cat: big on cuddles and love, quick to run or hide when scared. He does not travel in a car well and was not a fan of the dogs he “met” at the vet. Yoda has been neutered, does not spray, is litter box trained, microchipped, and has full claws. Vaccinations are in progress. Yoda’s mom is FIV+, so we separated him and his siblings from her around 8 weeks old. According to our vet, this gives their antibodies a chance to rid their bodies of the virus. He will need to be tested at 6 months to know for certain if we were successful.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Yoda, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
