　　Visit us on Facebook! Help us bring some luck back to this sweet guy's life! This is Lucky, a one year old male yellow Labrador/Boston Terrier mix - yes, that's an interesting mix!! Lucky has a smooth, yellow coat and body like a lab but is much smaller and had the head shaped like a Boston terrier. How cute! He is much smaller than a lab, weighing only about 35 pounds. Lucky was well loved in a happy home until his owner died suddenly and unexpected. The owner was one of our wonderful volunteers.

　　Here is the word on Lucky from our Doghouse Facility: "Lucky is energetic and will require some exercise. He likes to pull collars off the other dogs, but in the most gentle way possible. He gets along with smaller dogs and likes to play hide and seek. He will certainly be a lap dog, so get it ready for him to plop. Lucky has a healthy love for people and is a cuddle bug after he has played for a while. He will do well by himself or with a companion dog. He goes into his crate at night with a treat. Crate trained."

　　Lucky is used to being with other dogs, he had two buddies in his former household. He was an inside/outside dog in a home with a doggie door. He is good with other dogs and should be fine with older children. We don't know about cats. Lucky is up to date on vet care, neutered and heartworm negative. He is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Lucky is still somewhat shell-shocked but adjusting much better. Thanks heavens dogs are adaptable to what life throws at them -- much better than people! So please help us find another loving home for this sweet dog to help us honor our greatly missed volunteer.
