This is a Yamaha 8310z “Bobby Shew” Bb trumpet (serial number 956743) that I purchased new in 2009 from Pro Winds in Bloomington, Indiana.  It was my main instrument until I recently purchased a newer version of the same trumpet.  This horn is in great shape for its age and years of use.  All valves and slides are free and the horn is functionally perfect.  A well respected local repair person "tweaked" it for me a few years ago, including a valve alignment.Cosmetically, there are typical signs of usage.  I've tried to represent those in the pics, so please look carefully.  There is 1 tiny ding (pictured), and light scratches throughout.  There is one area where a small ding was pushed out in the bell bow, so the surface is a little uneven and the lacquer is a little dull in that spot.  There are few spots where the lacquer has worn away from hand contact.  The blemishes are only obvious if you are close to the horn and looking for them.Also included, is the original Yamaha Xeno locking double trumpet case that came with the horn, with keys.  It is in excellent condition, with a few scuffs.  Additionally, I am including a Phaeton 3c mouthpiece since I no longer have the mouthpiece that originally came with the horn.
