I have a gently used Yamaha 7.1 channel receiver up for grabs. Excellent working condition and in great cosmetic condition. When I purchased this receiver new about three years ago I had intentions of building a 7.1 channel home theater. I hit a plateau when I created a 5.1 channel setup I was happy with and have gotten over finishing my 7.1 channel dream. I have a very capable 5.1 channel Yamaha receiver currently powering a simple 2.1 channel stereo setup that will be replacing the RX-V663 that is currently powering my living room home theater making this unit no longer necessary.
The feature set on this receiver far exceed what a unit at it's original selling price generally possess. Fully compatible with HD audio and video. Featuring HD audio decoding, HDMI (4 in/ 1 out), 1080p video upscaling. Pure Direct, YPAO, Cinema DSP 3D and custom installation features. . The Pure Direct feature provides unparalleled audio clarity when listening to music. This unit has an A+B speaker option giving you the possibility to make use of a B set of speakers in a different setting as the main surround sound set up such as an adjacent room or even power a set of outdoor speakers on the back porch. It is also possible to connect a B set of speakers to enhance the 7.1 surround stereo as ambient monitors providing extra emphasis on your movie's soundtrack. The unit has two subwoofer outputs which could be great if you're a big fan of rattle the house low end during action sequences or listen to a lot of bass heavy music. The receiver is also set up to accommodate the accompaniment of additional amplifiers if 90W X 7 is not enough output for your liking.
I have the original remote control, YST microphone for automatic speaker tuning, and original manufacturer's owner's manual.
I will leave the receiver connected to my current home theater speakers so you can give it a test run before buying it.
I could not possibly list all the bells and whistles this Yamaha receiver has in a simple Americanlisted ad so I've provided links to reviews, details, and specifications for you to see just how capable this receiver really is.
Yamaha has been on the leading edge of producing the best sounding stereo receivers and amplifiers since at least the 1970's. Their sound recreation has always been more elaborate, accurate, and just better sounding overall than the rest of the competition trying to keep up in the mid, entry, and even high end audiophile home stereo market.
