UPDATE : Please do not commit to buy if you aren't planning to follow-thru with the deal. I think that is a reasonable request, don't you?
Recently a buyer committed to buy and pick it up. He didn't show up, called to say he couldn't come up with the money. Unbelievable!
I have lowered the price to what I agreed to sell it to him for, $2,500.
Yamaha Blaster with 40+ hp Big-Bore Engine
With over $12,000 in parts & labor, this is a Quad to be dealt with no matter where it goes.
I am the 2nd owner of this incredible machine and could write a book about everything that?s been done to it. So let me just give you some highlights;

ENGINE
* CT 240 Big-Bore Kit with matching components
* CT Long-Rod Crank (more reliable than stroker, gets same results)
* Needs a 34 or 35 mm Carb with Pro-Design Manifold & Reed Cage. I have a clamp on UniFilter Aircleaner for that size carb. The picture shows what it would look like, unfortunately, I can't find those parts. Got lost in our move.
* Everything that could be replaced or upgraded inside the engine, was, with a total cost of over $4,000 in parts & labor.* The engine needs a Pipe & Silencer; A CT Big-Bore is readily available. This P&S combo would extract the maximum HP & Torque from this engine.
- I have received numerous offers to sell just the engine and others just the Quad but feel they belong together. At this low a price you get both. So, I WILL NOT PART IT OUT, please don?t keep asking. Buy it, take what you want and sell the rest.
- Also, I apologize for the Quad being a bit dirty & dusty. I just don't have the time to clean it up. That's part of the reason the price is so low.
$ 2,500 takes it all. You couldn?t have bought the last of the new ones in 2006 for that amount of money. The price is less than 20% of the Actual, total cost of replacement. Cost to build this engine is more than what you are paying for everything. I also have all sorts of extra parts; Sprockets, extra brake kit parts, etc., etc., that will go to the lucky new owner.
If you are a serious buyer, want the best and something that will go fast and stop quick, this Quads for you.
I bought it with a bill a sale, so it will be sold with the same. It can be registered with a DMV form.
All sales are final.
Quad is being sold "as is" with NO Warranty
