My story
Spunky purr monster looking for a forever home with somebody who will play, play, play! Xena is a 13-week old female orange/buff tabby sweetheart. Xena had ringworm when she arrived and was selected to participate in the UC Davis ringworm study. She responded very quickly to the study meds and was ringworm clear within 2 weeks, and confirmed with her second negative test in her third week. So she really is a Princess Warrior by helping to pave the way for better treatment options for kittens! Yay Xena! She`s eating Science Diet kitten dry food and Pro Plan wet pate. Summary of PersonalityXena (my Princess warrior) LOVES to run, climb, and explore. She craves playtime with her humans. Her favorite things to play with are wand toys with Mylar strands or squeaky toys she can chase. Have some kick toys on hand to redirect her need to capture and bunny kick her prey! She also loves anything she can bat around on the floor. She enjoys gazing out the window at the sights and sounds and lounging in the warm sun. After she`s all played out, she loves to climb up in your comfy lap, make biscuits, and have you pet her to sleep. She sleeps on the bed with her humans and insists on snuggling up against you and even burrowing under the covers from time to time. She also loves to climb up and sit on your shoulder! She tolerates being being picked up, but she`s usually in play mode and prefers to be running. Xena is surprisingly not motivated by food treats. Experience with Dogs, Cats, or other AnimalsBecause she initially had ringworm, Xena had to be kept separate from all other animals until she was cleared. She hasn`t been around other kittens/cats and she can play a little hard and mouthy. She`s easily redirected to toys to mouth. She`s curious about the resident guinea pig and hears the downstairs dog, but hasn`t interacted with him because he`s a bit too interested in fast moving kitties Xena would probably do well with a confident kitten/cat that will tolerate some initial rough play as she adapts. She`d also do well as a single kitty, as long as her humans are committed to daily play time to get her energy out. Is ypour foster litter box trained?yes!!
