Xena's story

　　Xena is an awesome, young Beagle mix who is very scared right now here at the shelter. According to her previous owner, she loves people, is good with kids and is housebroken. Right now all we are seeing is a very timid dog, but that can change very quickly here once Xena feels more comfortable through lots of love and comforting. Xena, like many dogs with long, droopy ears, suffers from frequent ear infections that will have to be attended to for the rest of her life. It's like doing parasite protection for your pet. The upkeep is not difficult and it is much easier to manage that, than allowing the infections to do real damage and pain for the dog.
