Wyatt Earp 29882's story
Wyatt Earp is a 1-year old, black and white tuxedo, neutered male cat. He got his name because he has a beautiful white mustache! Wyatt showed up on a nice man's property but he was unable to care for him. Wyatt is very gentle, has a calm nature, likes to cuddle and purr. He is a sweet cat who loves affection and attention from people, too. Please stop by the shelter and adopt this little cowboy today!
You may remember our directed spay/neuter campaign this past spring--'Spay Neuter Autauga County'-- which was made possible by a $20,000 Petco Lifesaving Grant. PAHS has remaining funds from this grant and we are happy to announce that effective December 1, 2018 all adoptions will be reduced by half! For the month of December (as funds will allow) cat adoption fees will be $25 and dog adoptions $60. We are thrilled to offer this gift to the animals and people of our community. Upon partnering with Petco and receiving these monies, PAHS pledged to work toward 'live outcomes' with shelter animals; we believe half-price adoptions will fulfill this promise and is a great way to end the year! Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heartworm negative.
