Maxie appears to be a Black and White Shih Tzu but this little cutie in fact has a lot of brown in his coat that is not apparent in his pictures.

　　Maxie is a darling LITTLE Boy of less than 10 lbs that comes to us from the home of a older couple who had become homeless and were living in their car.. It was a very disturbing situation for all of us. Maxie came with a buddie who we have already placed so he does like little dogs. He is intimidated by older dogs.

　　He is a very sweet dog of approximately 2 years old and he has been here for about 4 months. This is the first time we have offerred him for adoption and we hope that a forever family will come forward to make him their own, Maxie loves to cuddle and is very obedient in coming to his name when called.

　　I think that Maxie is a diamond in the rough and given half a chance will be the most wonderful pet and companion.
