My story
Name: WinterBreed: Terrier Whippet mix?DOB: April 22, 2019Approximate Weight: 45.5lbs.Location: DelawareWinter came to us from North Carolina, where she was kept in a 10 by 10 kennel, far away from the house because the other dogs did not like her. She had a very lonely beginning to her life. Winter will tell you about herself……...“The main thing you need to know about me is I LOVE PEOPLE!
I love to snuggle and be with anyone that gives me a pet and says a kind word to me. I am kind of a velcro dog. If it were up to me, I would go everywhere you go. All the time! I am house-trained and crate trained, which reminds me, I like my crate, so I will need one in my new home. I have learned the following commands: “Crate up”, “Down”, “Outside to potty” , “Easy”, “Wait” and “Time to eat”, but I am willing to learn so much more!I love going for car rides and I am pretty good on a leash. My foster mom says that I am charming and easy to love. I would be super company for a person who needs a companion. I am very loyal, affectionate, low maintenance and loving. I am also very smart, and I understand verbal cues and changes in tone of voice. I love to please the people I am with. I love kids and do not really like cats. I am very well-mannered but sometimes I get excited and jump up. I really would be happiest as an only dog; I would just like to have my person to myself.”Winter is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccines.
