My story
Meet Winston. He’s about a year old and weighs about 45lbs. Winston was an HDF guy as a pup and was recently discarded to HHS-unwanted again. We busted him out of jail and he’s back with us. Why did he end up there? Well, he’s an active guy that needs an outlet for his energy. Foster mom’s 2 happy pitties was just what the Dr. ordered. So, we know Winston’s forever home has at least 1 other playful pup in it, preferably his size or larger. We also know Winston will benefit from crate training and accountability, so foster mom is working to get his attention and help him find his calm.Winston is house-trained and knows a few basic obedience commands, “sit”, “down” and “stay”. He is very eager to please and really enjoys his squeaky toys. He LOVES human affection and animals of all shapes and sizes (but can get over excited and needs help remembering to be calm)He’s neutered, current on vaccines and microchipped (they are a lifesaver). If you’d like to meet this lover, please fill out an adoption application at and ask for him by name.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Winston, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
