WIND's story

　　03/07/19 Wind came to the shelter because his owner had too many sled dogs and could not take care of them anymore. He has experience mushing and running as part of a team for long distances (10-15+ miles). Wind came to us underweight and although he should be lean, he needs to gain 5-10 pounds. He is an energetic boy and has experience only living outside. He is not housetrained and does not have indoor dog training for basic obedience. He would love to run on a large team with you or possibly on a skijor team that travels long distances. He came in with 5 other dogs he is used to running with & related to so if you are looking for more than one dog to join your team, please ask the front desk about other dogs he is familiar with.
