He is diabetic. He now has low vision but still gets around very well, including stairs. Wilson enjoys playing with his squeaky toys and following the dog pack around. He frequently comes around for hugs and kisses from his foster parents, and loves to cuddle on the couch and be involved in all human ativities in the home and yard. In March of 2017 Wilson was diagnosed with a form of veneral cancer in dogs. Sticker's Sacroma. He is doing well and is comfortable. This has not stopped him from being the truly loving dog that he has always been since coming to RMCR in 2015. NEEDS HOSPICE CARE. HE WILL REMAIN IN THE CARE OF HIS FOSTER FAMILY IN OUR COMPASSIONATE CARE PROGRAM. Our dogs are temporarily housed in pre-screened, loving foster homes while waiting their new forever home. They are also micro-chipped, groomed (if needed), and given a thorough professional veterinary exam to identify any health issues or potential issues.
