Meet Willie. He is estimated to be about one year old and likely a Chihuahua mix. This little guy, weighing in around 9 pounds, is full of so much love to give. He does great with other pups and children and would likely be fine around cats but has not been tested. Willie loves to play, chew on sticks and bones, he loves playing at the dog park, going for walks (he still needs a bit of work on the leash), wrestling with his foster siblings, and snuggling under the covers when he's chilly. Willie would do great in a home by himself or with other pets. He would be a great pup for a family or for a single person that needs a buddy. Willie is still working on potty training but he is very eager to please his humans. Willie is extremely energetic and only sits still for quick naps, lap snuggles, and bedtime so would love to be adopted by an active, playful person or family.
If you are interested in adopting Willie, please submit an adoption application located on our website, coloradocaninerescue.org. We are asking for a $200 adoption donation. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. Please note, CCR cannot guarantee the breed composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have no history prior to them entering the shelter. In addition, most dogs listed as potty trained will experience an adjustment period as they learn the routines in their new home. 4/25/18 1:19 PM
