My story
THIS IS A COURTESY POST. PLEASE CONTACT MICHELLE WITH TINY PAWS RESCUE AND SANCTUARY AT [email protected] or 1 (209) . Wilbur is being fostered in Turlock. Serious inquiries only please. 15-20 year commitment. Bio:Wilbur is a 10 month old Schnauzer/Terrier mix weighing about 10 lbs currently. He was picked up as a filthy and terrified stray. Because he was so fearful, he did not do well in the shelter. Once out of the shelter environment and in a home he began to decompress and became a very sweet, affectionate and playful puppy. Wilbur is doing great with house-training. He should still wear a belly band in the house to prevent marking but otherwise he uses the dog door like a champ! Wilbur prefers to sleep in a comfy cozy crate at night. He will wait by the door to be let in at bedtime -- and will give a bark to remind you in the morning not to forget him. Wilbur has been a delightful boy to foster. He gets along with dogs, cats and kids. He is very smart and learns quickly.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Wilbur, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
