Whippet - Lulu - Small - Adult - Female - Dog
Lula is a Whippet who we think is about 8 years old. She is a tripawd, but shows no indication of missing her lost leg. She gets along very well by herself. Lulu cannot be adopted to a home with dogs larger than 10 lbs, as they might knock her over plus they scare her to death. She needs children over the age of 10 for the very same reason. She loves kids over that age and (MOST) other dogs under the 10lb weight limit. She does sometimes play with the Chihuahuas in her foster home. She is potty trained for outside and crate trained but does not need one and does not care for one. She sleeps in the recliner next to her foster mom in the evenings, and at night under a blanket. Whippets have little hair so they must be kept warm. She also tires easily so cannot go on walks or runs with her human. She is strictly a home body. And a lovelier, more perfect one will never be found! If you want a PERFECT dog, this is the one. She is so well behaved! Her blue eyes are so soulful. She will stick her tongue out at you, too - definitely a cutie-pie!MARF animals are usually placed with fosters dedicated to preparing our animals for adoption. We hold weekly adoption events to allow potential adopters to meet our animals. This event is currently being held at Petco on Hwy. 72 in Madison. Please check our website for any schedule changes due to special events. You may also request to meet a certain pet or speak with their foster by sending an e-mail to [email removed]. MARF animals are up to date on shots, and spayed/neutered, if old enough.
Please visit our web-site at for an adoption application. This is *not* a contract, but simply allows us to match your needs with those of your new pet and to answer questions more thoroughly. Thank you for your interest in our organization!
