THE BIKE HAD BEEN IN STORAGE SINCE IT WAS BOUGHT IN 1989. THE PREVOUS OWNER BOUGHT IT FROM A DEALER AND I PURCHASED FROM HIM. IT HAD NEVER BEEN OUT OF THE BOX. THIS IS A 1950S WESTERN FLYER SPRINGER REPLICA. THE MODEL AND SERIAL NUMBERS ARE ON PAPERS INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE BOX . I HAVE SAVED PORTIONS OF THE BOX FOR AUTHENTICITY. A FRONT FENDER LIGHT, A TAIL LIGHT AND HORN ALL WORK. BEING STORED IN A BOX, IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION NO NICKS, ETC., AND AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE TO BEING PERFECT.
RARE AND HARD TO FIND A BIKE LIKE THIS IN A BOX IT WOULD BE GREAT FIND FOR A COLLECTOR, A RESTAURANT OWNER FOR DISPLAY, OR AS A CHRISTMAS GIFT.
CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY NO.4231 AND OWNERS MANUAL IS INCLUDED.
THIS IS FOR ONE BIKE I DO HAVE A SECOND FROM THE SAME PREVIOUS OWNER STILL IN AN UNOPENED BOX FOR SALE. THIS FIRST BIKE I ASSEMBLED FOR MY SELF BUT FOUND IM TO OLD TO RIDE AS WHEN I WAS A KID. (BAD KNEES). THE BIKE IS FOR SALE LOCALLY ONLY. THE BIKES ARE REPLICAS. IF THEY WERE FROM THE 1950S IN THE ORIGINAL BOXES THEY WOULD SELL FOR OVER $2,000.00 DOLLARS EACH.
