My story

　　Truly a gentleman!Hullo there and top of the mornin' to ya! I am Mr. Wesley, just Wesley for my loved ones, which is everyone. I am an 8 months old, male Lab mix, weighing about 57 lbs, and waiting for my snip-snip surgery to be fixed. I am a true classic gentleman with impeccable manners and rapidly picking up bathroom training. My leash walking is dripping with finesse and we are working on helping with separation anxiety. I truly am a people's lad, and happier with company. But I will learn! My history is a bit dark or noir I would say. I was thrown out of a moving car in Compton and ended up in a high-kill shelter. But never fear, because TAP is here!No thanks to my history, I was initially scared of men. However, foster dad showed me that men can truly be amazing! I hav ebeen steadily gaining trust and confidence and being the goodest boy! I get along like house on fire with the foster sibling doggie pack and us lads are truly having a ball! I am submissive, and that helps build friendship too. Mantra for life, eh? I am also amazing with kiddos. Kitties? I gotta catch them all, and we dont do too well! My smartness is winning me accolades and I have mastered lots of cues already. With positive reinforcement training, I am going to ace my class. I am quite relaxed too and make great company for errands, brunches, and what-have-you-not! My puppy energy is great for a romp around the yard, but I settle down quickly. If you are looking for the ol-fashioned good dog, it's me! I would fit into any home as long as we adore each other. I would be perfect company for those tea times and finger sandwiches. Since I love my lads, I would love to be in a home with dogs or have many play dates. Since I am navigating separation anxiety, company and training would be necessary. If you think that we could be more charming together than the Bridgerton family, let's meet up!
