Wendy's story
Wendy was born into her FOR foster home in Spring of 2016, the oldest of her litter. At a few weeks old, Wendy became sick and had to be nursed back to health by her foster mom. After a rough start to life, Wendy became a healthy kitten who was adopted out. Unfortunately, for reasons beyond their control, that family had to rehome her. While we aren't sure what happened after this, Wendy was recently found wandering alone around the Arsenal. When she was brought to the shelter and had her microchip scanned, her owners were contacted and they said they no longer wanted her. So, here she is. After 2 years Sweet Wendy is back in our program and we are happy to give her a safe place until her FORever home is found! Wendy is a dream cat, she's very friendly and has never met a stranger. She loves to snuggle and be pet and is generally very easygoing. Wendy would do well in any indoor-only home as she gets along with other cats and dogs and would be fine with kids! Wendy would love a home where she gets lots of attention and love. She is a very social girl and loves to talk, too, so she'd be great for someone who lives alone and needs some company.
Wendy is fostered in Huntsville, AL but isn't picky about where she ends up. She is spayed, vaccinated, fully vetted, microchipped, and up-to-date on flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $35 and if you'd like to take the first step to meeting this girl and potentially making her your own, just fill out an application at forrescue.net/cat-application.
